সড়ক মানে রাস্তা — তাই ShorokAlert। কেউ কেউ লেখেন Sorok বা Sarak।Shorok (সড়ক) means road in Bangla; some people write it Sorok or Sarak.

কীভাবে কাজ করেHow it works

1. মানুষ যা দেখেন, তা-ই জানানPeople report what they see জ্যাম, দুর্ঘটনা, জলাবদ্ধতা, রাস্তা বন্ধ। ShorokAlert-এর কোনো সেন্সর বা লাইভ ট্রাফিক ফিড নেই, শুধু মানুষ যা শেয়ার করেন।Jams, accidents, waterlogging, closures. ShorokAlert has no sensors and no live traffic feed, only what people share.
2. সবুজ এমনি এমনি হয় নাGreen has to be earned ধূসর মানে সম্প্রতি কোনো খবর নেই, “ফাঁকা” নয়। মানুষ রাস্তা ফাঁকা বললে তবেই সেটি সবুজ হয়।Grey means no recent reports, not “clear”. A road turns green only when people say it is clear.
3. সবকিছুর মেয়াদ আছেEverything expires রিপোর্ট নিজে থেকেই ম্যাপ থেকে সরে যায়। রিপোর্টের ছবি ৪৮ ঘণ্টা পর, পোস্ট আর মন্তব্য ৭ দিন পর মুছে যায়।Reports leave the map on their own. Report photos are deleted after 48 hours, posts and comments after 7 days.
4. রাস্তার গল্প আর SOSRoad stories and SOS রাস্তা নিয়ে গল্প, প্রশ্ন আর মতামত সবাই পড়তে পারেন; ৭ দিন পর ছবিসহ মুছে যায়। বিপদে পড়লে SOS আশপাশের মানুষকে সাথে সাথে জানায়, তবে পুলিশকে নয়।Stories, questions and opinions about the roads are open to everyone and disappear after 7 days, photos too. In danger, SOS tells people nearby at once (it does not alert the police).

এটি জরুরি সেবা নয়। বিপদে পড়লে বা দুর্ঘটনার জায়গায় থাকলে আগে ৯৯৯ নম্বরে কল করুন।Not an emergency service. In danger or at an accident, call 999 first.
